Hi again folks. No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but I guess it must seem like from your respective ends. I have a bit of an excuse this week (although not last week) as I sliced open the first joint of my left thumb with a box cutter at work on Monday - four stitches - and now have to wear a splint on it for three weeks to let the nicked tendon heal. All the to-ing and fro-ing with various doctors and Queensway Carleton was a bit time consuming. As it is so long since my last effort, this one will have to be what The Cricketer used to call - perhaps still does in its reincarnation as The Wisden Cricketer - a "bumper issue".

First to a match from a way back of which the winner was known to me for my last missive but little else was - on Sunday, 06-June at Riverstonr Drive, Barrhaven, New Edinurgh defeated Exodus by 31 runs in a Citizen match: New Edinburgh - 154 for 8 [45 ov] (Nakul Nayyar 40 {3 fours}, Kanishk Bhatia 21 {2 fours}, Arun Shrichand 26 {2 fours}, Abiruban Chandrabose 2-27, Dennis Waithe 3-22, Roshan Antonipillai 2-27); Exodus - 123 [35.3 ov] (Abiruban Chandrabose 42 {4 fours}, Ralph Fogah 22 {1 four}, Manu Mukerji 4-19, Dravya Sharma 2-18, Nimeesh Kaushal 2 ct, 1 st).

Well, that's all for now folks. I hope to be more timely in future (Hasn't he said that before?) with my "publication".
